What is a Shaker-Bow?

A Shaker-Bow is a practice tool and percussion instrument. It is for students at any level and seasoned pros. It is designed to it prompt wrist flexibility. 

The coolest thing about the “JimBow” is the inertia or feedback you get from it. The momentum is similar to down and up bowing.

It is for playing steady even rhythms with accents. With practice you can even emulate long bows, string crossings and pulsations within a long bow by “stalling” the action.

You can develop muscle memory by playing steady rhythms in your bowing hand, when simultaneously reading, singing, or thinking about a melody, to create neural pathways for learning a song with a desired bowing pattern.
